Memorial services for Alan W. Hagemeier were held Thursday, July 20 at the Schmitz Funeral Home, Clinton, Iowa with Rev. Horst Hehr officiating.

Alan W. Hagemeier, son of Edward and JoAnn(Green) Hagemeier was born in Waukon, Iowa, January 15, 1954. He died at his home in Clinton on July 16, 1989. He was confirmed at St.Paul Lutheran Church, Postville, Iowa. He graduated from Postville High School and attended Upper Iowa University, Fayette, Iowa. He was the manager of Clinton Auto Parts. On February 28, 1981 he married Linda Grotz.

Survivors include his wife, Linda, his parents, grandmothers, Esther Hagemeier of Waukon, Iowa and Ethel Green of Postville, Iowa; two sisters, Linda Cook and Edith Ottens; five brothers, Richard, Kevin, Craig, Edwin, and Mark Hagemeier.
