Funeral services for Carol(Marti)Barrows, age 56, of Davenport, Iowa were held Tuesday, November 8 at Runge Mortuary. Burial was in National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. She died Saturday, November 5, 1988 at Mercy Hospital in Davenport, Iowa.

Carol was born February 7, 1932 in Allamakee County, Iowa *The obituary does not list the name of her father* She was employed as a trouble-shooter at Clifton Precision, Inc. in Davenport for 22 years. Carol Marti married Don Andre in 1952. In 1972 she married Robert Barrows. She was a member of West Park Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are her mother, Mrs. Esther Marti of Lansing, Iowa; her husband, Robert Barrows; a daughter, Mrs. John (Jillene) Parker of Castle Rock, Colorado; two sons, Jeffrey Andre of Denver, Colorado and Jay Andre of Arvada, Colorado; a sister, Mrs. Ken (Jan) DeMay of Northglen, Colorado; 3 stepchildren,three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
