Frances Schwartz, 67, died Tuesday, July 11, 1989 at Veterans Memorial Hospital. Her funeral services were held Friday morning, July 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Father Ed Lechtenberg officiated and burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Casket bearers were nephews Roger O'Hara, Bruce and Adrian Scudella, Jerry, Jake, and Joe Zeimet, and Dan and Mike O'Hara.

Frances was born January 13, 1922 in Waukon, Iowa to Joseph and Catherine (Ryan) O'Hara. She graduated from Waterville High School. She had lived and worked in Chicago, Illinois for 43 years before moving to Waukon three years ago. She had been a bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward before retiring. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Don O'Hara.

Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Bernard (Dorothy) Zeimet of Lansing, Mrs. Anthony (Kathryn) Scudella of Oak Lawn, Illinois; four brothers, Robert O'Hara of Decorah, Iowa, John O'Hara of Postville, Iowa, Kenneth O'Hara OF Waukon, Iowa, and James O'Hara of Las Vegas, Nevada.
