Abigail B.(Abbie) Westerholm of rural Waukon, Iowa died Tuesday, September 12, 1989 at Veterans Memorial Hospital at the age of 80. Funeral services have been set for 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 15, 1989 at St.John's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Chris Clarkson officiating. Martin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born July 8, 1909 in Waukon to Frank D. and Maude E. (Livingood) Miller and attended elementary school at Ludlow #7 and two years at Waukon High School. On December 1, 1928 she married Harry A. Westerholm in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota where they lived from 1928 to 1930. He died March 12, 1974. Most of her life was spent in the Waukon area. She was a homemaker and a member of St.John's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are four children, Mrs. Dick (Betty) Schwamman of Waukon, Norin of Center Point, Iowa, Harlen of Walker, Iowa and Kleo of Vancouver, Washington; ten grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and a brother, Leonard Miller of Waukon.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Frank C. Miller and a sister, Cynthia Ludeking.

Honorary pallbearers are Jason Robinson, Brad Hawbaker, Justin Quanrude, Aaron Hartson, and David, Scott, and Koby Westerhom.
