Waukon, Iowa resident Edward T. Groezinger, 88, died Monday, October 28, 1985 at the Good Samaritan Center. Born in Waukon, May 8, 1897, he was the son of Theodore and Emma (Gruber) Groezinger. He attended Waukon High School and worked as an auto mechanic. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and of Zion United Church of Christ. His first marriage was to Olga Jeglum who died in 1927. He then married Lois Buettell September 30, 1943 in Allamakee County, Iowa.

His wife survives as do a son Boyd of Waukon and three grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother Carl and two brothers in infancy. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, October 31 at 1:30 p.m. at Zion United Church of Christ with the Rev. Henry Heinbuch officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Martin's funeral home where visitation was set for after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Pallbearers will be Jack Wadsworth, Valiere Dundee, Jack Halvorson, John Simmons, Steve Hager, and Bob Dunning.
