Ora Dahms

Funeral services for Ora Dahms were held Monday, May 22, 1989 at 11 a.m. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. The Reverend Julius L. Peterson officiated. Schutte Funeral service was in charge of arrangements. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.

Ora Dahms, daughter of Henry and Margaret (Meyer) Dahms, was born June 16, 1907 in Grand Meadow Township, Clayton County. She died Thursday, May 18, 1989 in Peoples Memorial Hospital at Independence.

She was baptized December 5, 1907 and confirmed September 11, 1921 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville.

Ora spent her entire life on the family farm until they moved to Postville in 1987.

She is survived by several cousins.

Ora was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville.

Casket bearers were Merlin Imoehl, Don Kugel, Lyle Zieman, Marlin Plaht, Bill Panncke and Eugene Schutte.
