Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 15, 1988 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in LaCrescent, MN for Linda L. Bateman of rural LaCrescent. She died Monday, July 11 of injuries received in an auto accident. The Rev. David Baardseth and the Rev, Richard Gilmore officiated. Burial was in the Hiler Cemetery, Nodine, MN.

Linda was born November 23, 1948 in Waukon, IA to Louis and Vivian (Loeffler) Beneke.
On July 31, 1971, she was married to Gordon "Burt" Bateman in Eitzen, MN.

Surviving are her husband; one daughter, Nicole Marie, her mother who lives in rural New Albin; and a brother, Bradley of Waukon.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Schumacher Kish Funeral Home, LaCrescent, MN was in charge of arrangements.
