"One by one the early settlers are laying down the burden of life and being gathered to the fathers. Another old pioneer, Mrs. Michael Bulger (sic), of Taylor township, passed away this week, aged 66 years. She was a native of Ireland and a resident of this county for 40 years. Thirty-eight years ago Mary Manton was married to Michael Bulger, who with five daughters and two sons survive to venerate the memory of a good wife and mother. Their children are Mesdames T.F. Hogan and J.W. Ryan and the Misses Frances and Celia of Taylor township, Sister Mary Leonida of Chicago, Walter of Cresco, and Thos. of Deadwood, S.D.
