Carl Otis May, 66, of Waukon, died June 21, 1995.
He was born January 17, 1929, to Harold E. and Codilia (Lebreigh) May. He attended school at Lansing through the 9th grade.
Carl married his wife, Geneva Ruen October 7, 1981 in Decorah. He had previously been married to Doris Larson, later marrying Mavis Otteson.
Carl was a farmer and handyman.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva: a son Carl Jr.; several step-children and many step-grandchildren; and three sisters, Louise Christansen of Milwaukee, WI, Betty Paul of Hurst, TX, and Adeline Robbins of Cuba City, WI.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Funeral services were held Saturday, June 24, at United Methodist Church, Lansing. Pastor Tom Mattson officiated. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were George Ruen, Howard Ruen, Lee Ruen, Leslie Ruen, Daryl Ruen. and Robert W. Schroeder.
Burke-Thornburg Funeral Home, Lansing was in charge of arrangements.
