Funeral services for Mrs. Otto Sanderman will be held today, Wednesday from Salem United Church of Christ, Ludlow township, with the Rev. W.E. Clausing officiating. Mrs. Sanderman passed away at the Veteran's Memorial Hospital on Monday morning.
Born in Ludlow township on July 15, 1879*, Mary M. Sanderman was the daughter of Conrad and Conradina Siekmeier** and had lived all her life in Allamakee County. She was married on February 26, 1902 at her home to Otto Sanderson who passed away in 1962. She is survived by two daughters, Esther, Mrs. Alfred Snitker, and Mrs. Florence Snitker, both of Waukon. Mrs. Sanderman had resided of late with the latter daughter. There are five grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Mattie, Mrs. Fred Helming, Lily, S.D. and Anna, Mrs. John Hansmeier, Foley, Minn.
Interment was in the Salem Church cemetery with Martin Bros. Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Pallbearers were Martin Meier, Neal Sanderman, Walter and George Winkie, Harvey Flage and Paul Hesse.
