JAKE BEALL, AGE 66, DIES AT WAUKON THURSDAY
Following an illness of several months from an incurable disease, died at his home in this city Thursday. He had lived in this city* all of his life, having been born at the farm home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Beall in Jefferson township on March 23, 1873. He became a resident of Waukon years ago and conducted an ice delivery business until recent years. In the meantime culivated a small acreage he owned south of the city limits.
He was married on March 20, 1899, to Nora Halsey who with their daughter Nellie survives him. Also two sisters, Mrs. Clara Eygabroad of Fredericksburg and Mrs. Herman Hilmer of Waterloo, Iowa, both of whom were present at the funeral services held Sunday afternoon at the late home of the deceased, conducted by Rev. Paul Krebs, visiting Prebyterian pastor from Alton, Ill.
