Clarence M. Russett died on March 11 at Finley Hospital in Dubuque after an illness of about two months.
He was born August 29, 1899 in Maynard, Iowa to Ole Agata Scgobin Russett. He was married on January 27, 1925 at Ossian, Iowa to Lorraine Schroeder of Ossian. She survives as do two sons, Robert of Waterloo and Lawrence of Dubuque. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Surviving brothers are Oscar of Luana and Olaf of Ulysses, Kansas; two sisters, Mrs. Agnes Blomhagen of Castalia and Grace Russett of Postville.
Mr. Russett was a retired farmer. Funeral services were held on Monday, March 11 , at St. Patrick's Church in Waukon, with Rev. Msgr. Frederic Heles officiating. Burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
