Beighle, Lloyd 1908-1940

Lloyd Beighle, 32, farmer in Ludlow township, passed away September 5, in an ambulance which was taking him to Iowa City. Mr. Beighle had been ill for only a week. Private burial services were conducted in Oakland cemetery the following day. Pallbearers were Helmer Sanderson, Richard Kruger, Walter, William, John and Wilbur Rekward, all cousins of Mr. Beighle.

He was born on a farm east of Waukon on July 16, 1908, a son of Mr. and Mrs. W.H. Beighle. After attending rural schools near his home he attended Waukon high school and was graduated. On November 28, 1933, he was married to Thelma Hilmo and to their union were born two children, Eugene and Ann. For the past several years he had been engaged in farming, operating his property in Ludlow township. In addition to his wife and children, he is survived by his parents and a sister, Mrs. Marion Hilliard.
