The death of Myles Roach, 54, former Allamakee farmer, late of Prairie Du Chien, Wis., occurred on Friday, August 9, at Memorial Hospital, South Bend,Indiana of an apparent heart attack. He had recently been employed as a semi-truck driver for International Transport out of Rochester, Minn. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from St. Patrick's Church, Waukon, with Msgr, Frederic Heles officiating, and burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
He was born in Allamakee county on January 26, 1920 to Mr. and Mrs. Ed Roach. He is survived by his wife, the former Martina Bruehan, a daughter Marsha and a son Michael.
Bakke and Hanson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
