Karl I. Kohlstad, 92, of Lansing died on Tuesday, Aug. 24, in a Guttenberg hospital.
He was born Sept. 12, 1883 in rural Lansing to Martin and Helen Kohlstad. On September 15, 1915 he married Louisa Glaus in Lansing. He had been a carpenter before his retirement.
Surviving are his daughter, Mrs. Helen Guider of Lansing, three grandchildren ; nine great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife who died in 1960, and by a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services were held on Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Burke Thornburg Funeral Home in Lansing, the Rev. Roger S. Zieg officiating.
Burial was in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Powers, Lloyd Jahanke,Joe Troendle, Frank Ryan, Leonard Eckberg and Merle Kelleher.
