Tom Powell, 67 years old, died at Rapid City, S.D., on Monday, January 13. His remains will arrive on the noon train Thursday and interment will take place in the Postville cemetery. He was born August 30, 1863 in Noble county, Ohio, and came to Allamakee county in 1887, living near Postville and Waukon until the year of 1921, whence he moved to his son's home in South Dakota. His wife died in 1919. He is survived by three sons, John, Postville, Fred and Robert, Rapid City, S.D.
