The death of Mrs. W.T.Powell took place at her home in this city last week, following a stroke of paralysis. Deceased was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Dundee of Jefferson township, where she was born Jan. 20, 1870, and continued to reside until her marriage to Mr. Powell on March 10, 1889. This union was blessed with five children, three of whom are living, namely, John W., Fred and Robert, all being Postville residents at this time. For the past eighteen years the family have been residents of this city. Besides her husband and children, she is survived by her brothers Will, Hiram, and Henry M., and her sisters, Mrs. Nora Bray, Mrs. Ruth Bray, and Mrs. Martha French. The funeral was held from the Methodist church on Wednesday last, conducted by Rev. Williams. Interment in Postville cemetery.
