Mrs. CLARENCE J. (Bess Rasmusen) STOLTZ

Relatives and friends in Postville received word of the death of Mrs. Bess (Rasmusen) Stoltz August 4, 1983 at the Dubuque Health Care Center. Bess was born in Postville April 20, 1898, the daughter of Caroline (Jeglum), and Andrew Rasmusen. She was a sister of Julie Meiske, Levin and Otto Rasmusen, deceased. She married Clarence J. Stoltz in 1923 at Dubuque where she lived for many years. He died in 1938. Surviving are a nephew, Cloy Meiske of San Diego, CA, many relatives and friends. DeWachter Haudenshield Funeral Home had charge of arrangements with burial in the Dubuque Linwood Cemetery Monday, August 8.
