Edna Lillian Lange, 95, daughter of August and Frederika (Neihaus) Lange, was born Feb. 9, 1897, at Postville, IA. She died Feb. 11, 1992, in the Villa Marie Nursing Home at Jefferson City, MO.

She was graduated from Postville High School, Gregg Business College in Chicago, IL and Northwestern University in Evanston, IL. She lived in Chicago most of her life, where she was employed as an executive secretary. During her lifetime she had been employed by the Northwestern Railroad, Boston Maine Railroad, Curtis Publishing Company and Detex. Edna was a member of the Lake Ozark Christian Church in Missouri and the Phi Chi Theta Business Fraternity.

She is preceded in death by three brothers, Henry, Ben and Fred Lange; and three sisters, Julia Wharam, Lucy Brown and Hannah Carney. Surviving are nieces and nephews.

Graveside services were held Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1992, at 11:00 a.m. at the Postville Cemetery. The Rev. Terrance P. Hennesy officiated. The Schutte Funeral Service of Postville was in charge of local arrangements.
