Bradley Wayne Starkey 1958-2010

Bradley Wayne Starkey, 51, of Postville died Friday, February 5, 2010 at his home in Postville following a brief illness. Memorial Services were held Tuesday, February 9 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Castalia, with the Rev. Dave Lenth officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Bradley was born March 10, 1958 in Waukon to Norman Henry and Beulah Frances (Bray) Starkey. He had been employed by Iowa Turkey Products in Postville.
Bradley was married to Debbie Ann Johnson. They were later divorced. Bradley married Kimberly Kay Johnson September 10, 1992. A daughter, Kandice, was born to this union. Bradley enjoyed fishing and picnics with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Starkey of Postville; one daughter, Kandice Kay of Postville; three brothers, Jerry (Dixie) Starkey of Castalia, Ricke (Kathy) Starkey of Waukon, and Lynn Starkey (special friend Abby Hoek) of Waukon; three sisters, Marilyn Meyer of Castalia, Janice (Ralph) Dougherty of Waukon, and Beverly Johnson of Waukon; his mother-in-law, Joan Johnson of Dubuque; three brothers-in-law, Robert (Judy Roth) Johnson of Maquoketa, Melvin (Cindy) Johnson of Waukon, and Rickie (Bonnie) Johnson of Frankville; three sisters-in-law, Dixie (Jerry) Starkey of Castalia, Jackie Moeller of Dubuque, and Julie (Robert) Lembke of Dubuque; and many nieces and nephews.
Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Beulah; his first wife, Debbie Ann (Johnson) Starkey; his father-in-law, Truman Johnson; four brothers-in-law, James Johnson, Dale Johnson, Dale Moeller and Scott Teckemeyer; and one nephew, Lucas Johnson.
