KAESER, CHARLES E. - aged 70, a resident of Santa Ana, passed away Feb.9, 1987. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy L. Kaeser of Santa Ana; a son, Charles David Kaeser, Garden Grove; a daughter, Sheryl Ann Scott of Huntington Beach; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers, John Kaeser, Gordon Kaeser, and Walter Kaeser all living in Iowa; and a sister, Edith Reck of St. Louis, Missouri. Friends may call at Brown Colonial Mortuary 3-9 pm today. Funeral services will be private in nature. Brown Colonial Mortuary directing.

Charles Edward Kaeser was the oldest son of Charlie A. and Kathryn (Donegan) Kaeser. He was raised on a farm near Waukon, Iowa. He was a construction worker. He helped build the Allamakee County Home. After helping with the County Home, he began building homes in LaCrosse, Wisconsin. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He made his home in Santa Ana, California after the war. He helped construct medical buildings, restaurants, and high rise buildings in the Los Angeles and Burbak, California areas.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Harriet Prendergast.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy (Griswold) Kaeser. 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, a son Charles David Kaeser and a daughter Sherry Ann Scott of Huntington Beach, California. All three brothers (listed) were living in Waukon, Iowa and the sister, Edith lived in Webster Groves, Missouri.
