Vera Burns Luhman, Bellflower, CA, died June 1. Services were held June 5, 1990 in the Flower Garden Chapel, White's Funeral Home, Bellflower, CA. Rev. Ted Cauffman officiated. Interment was in Rose Hills Memorial Park.

She was born April 6, 1891 to parents Frank and Nannie Burns. She attended Iowa schools and graduated from Cedar Falls College. She resided in Postville from 1911 until 1946 when she moved with her family to Bellflower.

She was a member of the Bellflower Presbyterian Church, Bellflower Women's Club, Thespian Eastern Star, PEO.

Preceding her in death was her husband Frederick and daughter, Cressa Beryl Porcelli.

She is survived by children, Lloyd Burns Luhman, Las Vegas and Lorna Dawn Crittendon, Reno; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
