Marguerite Lauerman, 84, of Waukon, died at the Good Samaritan Home Wednesday, March 6, 1985.

She was born in Waukon April 25, 1900, the daughter of Matthew and Abigail (Sheehan) Buckley. She graduated from Waukon high school and married Edward Lauerman June 1, 1927 in Waukon. They lived in Sparta, Wis. until 1955 when they moved back to Waukon.

She is survived by a son, Edward Lauerman, Jr., of Waukon, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1976; a son, Paul; two grandchildren; a brother and a sister.

Services were held at 11 a.m. Friday, March 8, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Rev. Albert Manternach officiated and burial was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Pallbearers were Matt Ryan, Mike Osterholm, Clem Schulte, Charles Kilpatrick, Leo Devitt and Eugene Oesterle.

The Hanson funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
