Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 13, for Harry Gerald Larson, 51, Ossian farmer, who died in Smith Memorial Hospital in Decorah Sunday, Oct. 10, from a heart attack.

Schmitz Funeral home was in charge of arrangements for the services in the Ossian Lutheran Church and burial in Hillside Cemetery. Rev. Duane Manson was in charge of the services.

Pallbearers were Ole Hendrickson, Glen Gullickson, Merle Schissel, Augustine Holthaus, Rudy Holthaus and Bernard Menne.

Harry Gerald Larson was born May 5, 1914, in Postville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry H. Larson.

He attended school in Grand Meadow Township, and married Delores Mae Martins on Aug. 29, 1942, in St. John's Lutheran Church. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Teska Martins of Luana, Iowa.

The Larsons lived in Postville and Ossian. Mr. Larson was a member of the Ossian Lutheran Church. Surviving are his wife, mother and three children, David, Sharon and Karen.

He was preceded in death by his father.
