Gary Edward Larson passed away Friday, January 29, 2010 at Gundersen Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse, WI from natural causes. He was soon to be 64 years old. Funeral services were held Monday, February 1 at the Thornburg-Hanson Funeral Home in Lansing. Interment was at the Monona Cemetery.

Gary was born February 18, 1946 to Arthur and Ivanell Schlitter Larson from Postville. Gary was confirmed at Evangelical United Brethren Church and graduated from Postville High School in 1964. He owned Gary’s Golden Nugget in Frankville in the 70s and Gary’s Automotive since then.

Gary married Janet Huinker February 12, 1966 in Ossian, and they had two children, Randy (Lynette) from Sumner and Christy (Barry) from Hudson. Gary and Janet divorced in February 1984. He was the grandfather of Abby, Ally, Sidney, Jackson and Jenna.

Gary lived in Lansing for the last 26 years with Jeanie Rosauer, his significant other, doing what he loves, fixing up cars and tractors to sell them for others to enjoy.

He had two brothers, Dale (Shirley) Larson of Waverly and Merle (Jayne) of Milwaukee, WI. He also has seven nieces and nephews: Scott, Kim, Paul, Mel, Melanie, Melissa and Marty.
