Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Marion Lutheran Church at Gunder for Ida Gulsvig, who passed away at her home on February 8. Burial was in the Gunder cemetery, the Rev. Bruce Boyce officiating.

Ida Otelia Reierson Gulsvig, daughter of Ole and Inga Reierson, was born in Fillmore county, Albert Lea, Minnesota, July 29, 1874, and passed away at her home in Postville on February 8, at the age of 82 years, seven months and nine days.

She was baptized and confirmed at Elk Creek Lutheran Church in Kensett, Iowa, by the Rev. Ole Nelson. On June 7, 1900, she was united in marriage to Embret Gulsvig.

Preceding her in death were her husband; one daughter, Mrs. Leroy Larson of St. Olaf; one son, Roy of Postville; her parents; three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by five children, Ernest, Milo and Mrs. Lila Renzman, all of Postville, Richard of Cedar Falls, and Mrs. Gladys Puffer of Oregon; one sister, Mrs. Thea Thoen of Kensett, ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.
