Clement Colsch, 86, of New Albin died Thursday, January 28, 2010 at Thornton Manor Care Center in Lansing. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 31 at the New Albin Community Center, with the Rev. Jim Olsen officiating. Interment was at Sand Cove Cemetery, New Albin.

Clem was born December 30, 1923 at Sand Cove. He was the son of Nicholas and Charlotte Theobald Colsch. Clem farmed his entire career at Sand Cove. He loved cutting wood, fishing and visiting his nieces and nephews, gardening, especially growing watermelons and cantaloupe which he shared with family and friends.

Clem is survived by four brothers, Robert of Lansing, Harold (Shirley) of Waukon, Dale (Wanda) of Plainfield, and Lloyd (Sheila) of New Albin; one sister, Arlene (Delbert) Swatosh of Oak Harbor, WA; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Edward, LeRoy and Carl.

Clem not only loved his family, but loved the Lord and now is at home with him in the promised land.
