A committal service for George Clark Frederick was held Saturday, Aug. 19, 10 a.m. at the Postville Cemetery. Verdon Swenson of rural Postville officiated. Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of local arrangements.

George Harvey Clark Frederick, son of Virgil and Helen (Sharp) Clark and grandson of Harvey and Martha (Jones) Clark, was born Oct. 26, 1911 at Portland, OR. He died Sunday, Aug. 12, 1990 in the Glenview Terrace Nursing Home, Glenview, IL.

On June 30, 1951 he married Nancy Gubb at Batavia, NY. He had been a resident of Evanston, IL for 36 years, where he was employed as an engineer for the Stewart Warner Corporation of Chicago.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy of Evanston, IL; 2 sons, Robert Clark Frederick, of Chicago and David Clark Frederick of Boise, ID; and 2 daughters, Susan Carol Frederick of Monrovia, CA and Jean Mathewson, Evanston, IL.
