Heart Attack Causes Death of Mrs. Kaeser

Although suffering from heart trouble for several years, the death of Mrs. J.S. Kaeser at her home in this city Sunday came as a shock to her family and friends.

She was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilman Nelson well known residents northeast of Waukon where as Mathilda Josephine Nelson, she was born March 21, 1879. Her entire life was spent in the vicinity and on Dec. 31, 1908, was united in marriage with J.S. Kaeser. They established their home on a farm north of Waukon and resided there until 1919 when they purchase their home on East Pleasant Street where her death occurred.

Surviving are her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Pearl King of Grinnel and Miss Mildred at home. Also four sisters and three brothers, namely; Mrs. Adolph Nelson and E.C. Nelson of Janesville; Mrs. D.J. Kaeser and Mrs. Charles Herman, Waukon; Mrs. H.A. Hanson, Cedar Falls, Iowa; A.O. Nelson, Barronette, Wis.; and O.G. Nelson, Benson, Minn.

Mrs. Kaeser was held in high regard by a wide circle of friends sho deeply synpathize with the family in their great sorrow.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at St. John's Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Erickson of Northfield, Minn. and Rev. P.F. Kjorlaug. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. The casket bearers were C.H. Megorden, Gilman and Otto Hanson, Alfred Smedsrud, George McShane, and W.C. Grangaard.
