Col. Harris Dies In Colorado

Funeral services were held for Lt. Col. Paul E. Harris in the Law Drawing Room, Colorado Springs, Colorado at 11:00 a.m. June 26 with Chaplain Posey officiating.

Paul E. Harris, son of Martin and Arvilla Brainard Harris, was born December 3, 1920 in Winneshiek county and died in a Colorado Springs hospital of cancer, June 22, following a brief illness.

He was married to the former Marilyn Thompson of Postville and they were the parents of two children.

He served in the Air Force for 27 years. The past three years he has been a salesman for Skiland Realty. He was a member of the Retired Officers Association and belonged to the Colorado Real Estate Board.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn Harris, Colorado Springs, a daughter Hope N. Harris of Sacramento, California and three sisters, Mrs. Beth Gustafson, East Lansing, Michigan; Mrs. Pat (Hope) Scully, Aurora, Illinois and Mrs. Lyle (Leah) Zieman, Luana.
