FOSTER FAY HARRIS

Funeral services for Foster Fay Harris, 57, of East Gary, Indiana, a former resident of this community, were held June 24 at the Olson Reiser Funeral Home in East Gary. Burial was in Calumet Park cemetery, East Gary.

Foster Fay Harris, born November 26, 1899, at Zanesville, Ohio, died June 21, 1957. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred C. Harris. He and his parents moved to Postville about 1907. He moved to Gary in 1942 and later to East Gary in 1954.

He was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his widow, Vannetta; four sons, Merle of Griffith, Indiana, Dean and Lee of Waterloo, and Neil of Gary, Indiana; a daughter, Mrs. Iris Zabel of Waterloo; a step-daughter, Mrs. Deloris Lindsay of Hobart, Indiana; two brothers, Glenn of Buffalo, New York and Neil of Hobart, Indiana; one sister, Mrs. Lois Robertson of East Gary, Indiana; and eight grandchildren.
