Loved Wife and Mother Called

Lucinda Catherine Jones, oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Jones, was born April 21, 1891, in Allamakee County and died in Howard County April 12, 1926. Her early life was spent in Hanover township. She was married to Jesse Jones April 29, 1908. Since their marriage they had lived in the county until the last two years, which have been spent in Howard county. Her mother died ten years ago and a sister twelve years ago. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband and six boys. Also her father, three brothers, Will, John, and Scott, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held at the home this Wednesday morning, April 14th, and also at the Presbyterian church this afternoon, conducted by Rev. Soldie assisted by Rev. VanNice.
