Rosa M. Nolting

Funeral services for Rosa M. Nolting, 81, Waukon, were held Friday, June 29 at 1 p.m. at the Zion United Church of Christ in Waukon. Burial followed at Oakland Cemetery. The Rev. Henry Heinbuch officiated. Arrangements were handled by Martin's Funeral Home.

Rosa M. Nolting, the daughter of Bert and Mary (Selberg) Dee, was born Jan. 27, 1903. She died June 27, 1984 in rural Luana.

She was educated in the Waukon schools and was married to Albert Nolting June 13, 1928 in Wisconsin. He died in 1962.

She was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, several church groups and the Waukon Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and two brothers, Alfred and Lawrence.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Duane (Marlys) Martins, Luana; two sons, LeRoy, Waukon and Leon, Yardley, PA; four grandchildren, Lisa, Lynne and Lonnie Martins and Janet Nolting; and one brother, Clarence Dee, Waukon.
