C. F. Stutzman, Lansing school teacher, was fatality injured Saturday night at 7:20 o'clock when the car he was driving and that driven by Val Menke of Constance, Minn., collided almost head-on about a half mile east of Church on highway No. 9.
Mr. Stutzman was rushed by ambulance to the office of a Waukon physician, where he died shortly after arrival. His neck was fractured and his head crushed. His death marked the second highway fatality so far this year in Allamakee county.

A teacher of mathematics and manual arts, he had taught at Avoca, Battle Creek, Roland, Waukon, and since 1943 at Lansing.

One sister preceded him in death.
