Services for Robert B. Cooper, aged 44, who died on Monday, were held Thursday afternoon at the Lansing Federated Church, The Reverend James P. Gable, of Marion, officating. Masonic rites and military honors were conducted at the gravesite.

A Native of Lansing, Cooper had been a member of the state conservation commission for 25 years. He served in the Lansing, Strawberry Point, and Spirit Lake areas.

He is survived by his wife, a son, Robert, and a daughter, Lois, all of Spirit Lake; his mother, Mrs. Edwin Cooper,Sr; a brother, Edwin, and a sister, Mrs Curtis Lenz, all of Lansing and a brother, Freeman, of Albuquerque, N.M.
