FUNERAL SERVICES FOR EARL STOCK WERE MONDAY
The death of Earl Stock, Waukon resident, occurred at his home Friday, February 19, following a heart attack. He was born October 10, 1901, in Jefferson township and was a son of Louis and Edith Beebe Stock.
He was educated in the local schools and lived in North Dakota for six years, returning to Allamakee county in 1934. August 3, 1927 he married Mabel Sherman in Waukon and they were parents of four children.
Survivor's are his wife and two sons, William of St. Cloud, Minn., and Robert L. of Waukon, and two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Ann) Binder of Davenport and Mrs. Donald (Carol) Dee of Lansing. Ten grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Thomas (Gertrude) Warren of Waukegan, Ill. also survive.
Mr. Stock retired January 1after being employed as a bulk station agent for Standard Oil Company in Waukon for 37 years. He was a member of Zion Reformed United Church of Christ.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 22, from Zion Reformed United Church of Christ with the Rev. D. D. Kauffman officiating. Burial was in Oakland cemetery. Pallbearers were Francis Intlekofer, Donald Sweeney, Floyd Larson, Leonard Rolfs, Clarence Flage and Jack Halvorson. Martin Brothers was in charge of arrangements.
