Chas. L. Larson Is Found Dead Last Friday At Home
Charles L. Larson, of Paint Creek township, was found dead at his home by his nephew, Ingvold C. Larson Thursday afternoon at four o'clock. Coroner Pateman investigated and decided death from natural causes occurred about fourteen hours previous.
He was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Lars Larson, early settlers in Paint Creek township, where he was born and lived for 76 years. He never married and is survived by a brother and three sisters, Ed Larson, Dubuque, Mrs. Christine Westby, and Mrs. Louise Halger, this vicinity, and Mrs. Oscar Aselson of Finlayson, Minn. Also a number of nieces and nephews.
H.J. Dumben of Waterville, had charge of the funeral services which were held Monday afternoon at the Old East Paint Creek Church, conducted by Rev. E.O. Baalson.
Burial took place in the church cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Herman Iverson, Sr., Herman Iverson, Jr., Henry Hanson, Clem Baxter, Norman Thorson, and Elmer Busness.
