MRS. BERT COLE
LANSING, Iowa (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. Bert Cole, 65, will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, the Rev. John Creps officiating, and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Cole died Thursday after a brief illness.
She was the former Jessie Adele Parsons, daughter of William and Mary Davis Parsons, and was born at Durand, Wis., Nov. 5, 1889. She was married at Manchester Dec. 17, 1906 to Bert Cole.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Otto Schobert, Mrs. John Hill and Mrs. Phillip Jensen of Lansing; two sons, Art Cole, Lansing, and John, Waukon; a brother, Wesley Parsons, Amana; three sisters, Mrs. Ada Cornwell in California, Mrs. James Cole, Guttenberg, and Mrs. Earl Harry of Dubuque; and a number of grandchildren.La Crosse Tribune

The former Jessie Adele Parsons was born in Durant, Wisconsin, May 5, 1889, daughter of William and Mary (Davis) Parsons. She was married to Bert Cole of Manchester December 17, 1905.
Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Otto Schobert, Mrs. John Hill and Mrs. Phillip Jensen, all of Lansing; two sons, Arthur of Lansing and John of Waukon; one brother, Wesley of Amana; and three sisters, Mrs. Ada Cornwell of California, Mrs. James Cole of Guttenberg and Mrs. Earl Harry of Dubuque.
