Martin Olson is Interred Friday 1877-1950

Funeral services were held at the Community Presbyterian Church last Friday at 2:00p.m. for Martin Olson, who passed away March 6 at Postville Hospital. The rites were conducted by Rev. Walter T. Martin. Burial was in Postville Cemetery. Martin Olson, son of Julius and Elizabeth Olson was born January 3, 1877 in Post township, Allamakee County. He died Monday, March 6 at Postville Hospital. Mr. Olson was married to Henrietta Gulbrandsen February 22, 1912 at Gillette, Wisconsin. He is survived by a son, Leon of Postville, and a daughter, Jean Marie of Flint, Michigan, two sisters, Mrs. Mary Huey and Mrs. Olaf Hanson both of Postville. Mr. Olson was preceded in death by his wife who passed away in 1933, a brother Ole and a sister Louise.
