Rites for Mrs. Rowe Conducted in Hampton
HAMPTON, Feb. 12.--- Funeral services for Mrs. Alfred Rowe, who died Saturday after a long illness, were held at her home Monday afternoon with the Rev. H. L. Michael in charge. Burial was in the Hampton cemetery. Clara Bobst Rowe was born in Allamakee county, March 5, 1864, coming to Franklin county with her parents in 1866. She was married Dec. 26, 1881, to Alfred Rowe and lived in Franklin county since. Mr. and Mrs. Rowe lived o a farm for many years. They made their home in Hampton for some time. Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Clyde Rowe on Hampton, and one daughter. Mrs. R. E. Spriggs of River Falls, Wis. Four sisters, Mrs. Lucy McNeil, Hampton; Mrs. Allie Walters, Mrs. Lillian Cummings, Mrs. Mary Zimmerman, and one brother, Charles Bobst, all of Los Angeles, also survive.
