Services for Wm. Ferguson
Funeral services for William Ferguson were held Sunday, January 14, 1990, at 1:30 p.m. at Schultz's Funeral Home in Monona, Pastor Harold O. Ward officiated. Organist was Florence Evans, and Mary Keehner was soloist. Burial was in the Monona City Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ronald Ferguson, Marlyn Buerger, Jerry Nagel, Wilbert Topel, Dr. Dean Ferguson and Robert Topel. Schultz's Funeral Home in Monona was in charge of services.
William George Ferguson was born May 9, 1902 in Allamakee County, Iowa to parents George and Chlista Jenkins Ferguson. He received his education in the rural schools in Allamakee County.
On September 30, 1926 William was united in marriage to Anna Sophia Timmerman in Monona. To this union three children were born. The couple farmed in Ludlow Twp. in Allamakee County until the 1960's. William lived on the farm all his life. After retiring from farming Bill worked for other farmers and for Kerndt Monument Company.
William died Thursday, January 11, 1990 at Veterans Memorial Hospital in Waukon, Iowa.
Preceding him in death were his parents: his wife, Anna, who died September 30, 1988; and three brothers, Robert, Walter, and Sidney.
Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Arleen Ferguson of Monona and Kenneth and Judy Ferguson of Waukon; a daughter and son-in-law Mary and Roland Nagel of Waukon; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and one nephew, Lyman Ferguson.

William George Ferguson, son of George and Chlista (Jenkins) Ferguson, was born May 9, 1902 in Allamakee County, Iowa. He attended rural county schools. On September 30, 1926 he married Anna Sophia Timmerman in Monona, Iowa. They farmed in Ludlow Township until the 1960's.
