Death Summons Jacob Iseli

Jacob Eseli was born in Switzerland October 7, 1870, and at the age of 17 years he came to America and located at Church, Iowa, where he has since made his home.

He was married to Amelia Gruber at Church, Ia. This union was blessed with five sons, Freddie of Church, Theodore, who died about 13 years ago, Henry and Adolph of Delavan, Wis., and Floyd of Church.

His first wife died several years ago and on April 6, 1915, he was united in Marriage to Katheryn Huper at Lansing, Ia. To this union four children were born, Esther, Jakie, Katheryn and Ruth, who, with their mother, mourn the loss of their devoted husband and father.

Mr. Iseli had been a sufferer for many months and for the last two months was confined to his home and the greater part of the time had to remain in bed. He bore bravely and suffered patiently until his release from this body of pain came on Dec. 20 at 1 o'clock A.M., at the age of 62 years, 2 months and 13 days.
