Joseph A. Schulte, 91, a resident of Harbor House, Sheboygan, Wisconsin, passed away there on Friday evening, October 10, 2008. Joseph was born on March 18, 1917 in St. Paul, Minnesota, the son of Bernard and Helen Schulte and grandson of August and Caroline Schulte. On May 22, 1941 he was united in marriage to Dorothy LaBerdia in Chicago. She preceded him in death on October 26, 2005

Joseph is survived by his son, Richard (Kate) Schulte; five daughters Kathy (Bernie) Ross, Diane (Robert) Jaeger, Karen (Gary) Haertel, Mary Jo (Bruce) Thibodeau and Theresa (Scott) Zimmermann; eleven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and a sister Catherine Schulte. He was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

A mass of Christian Burial for Joseph Schulte will be celebrated 1 pm, Tuesday, October 14 at St. Peter Claver Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church from 11 am until the time of Mass at 1 pm.

Joseph's family would like to extend their sincere thanks and appreciation to the staff of Harbor Heights and St. Nicholas Home Health and Hospice. The care and compassion shown to him will be remembered.
