Mrs. Sarah Harrison, wife of Richard Harrison, died Feb 14th, 1862, of cancer in the breast, in Lansing, Allamakee Co., Iowa, aged 47 years. Sister Harrison gave her heart to God in 1840, in Cameron, Steuben Co., N.Y., under the labors of the Rev. Philo Tower, and joined the M.E. Church, of which she lived a faithful member, and died as she lived, in the triumphs of living faith..... Lansing, Feb 20, 1862. H.W. Houghton.

~Note: Sarah Harrison's grave is in Old Oak Hill cemetery. The 'Woodmansee' record is in conflict with this newspaper notice of death. 'Woodmansee' gives death date as July 14, 1862.
