Mrs. L. A. Jarvis sends a clipping of a Minneapolis paper recording the death of a former Lansing resident in an auto accident on the 1st inst.
Mrs. Herbert R. Wagner, aged 63, who will be remembered as Miss Ida Miller, a drug clerk in the store of her brother-in-law, Jacob Ackerman, about 35 years ago. The lady’s 30-year old daughter Lois was also hurt in the accident and in a critical condition in a Minneapolis hospital. Both women were struck by a car crossing the street. Mrs. Jarvis attended Mrs. Wagner’s funeral on Thursday following the accident, and reported Mrs. J. Ackerman as being with her injured niece at the time she wrote her letter, ten days after the fatal death of the mother.
