Mrs. Hulda Osterholtz
WAUKON, Ia. ---- Services for Mrs. Hulda Osterholtz, 61, of Waukon, will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Martin Bros. Funeral Home and at 2 p.m. at the Zalmona Presbyterian Church in Ludlow Township. Mrs. Osterholtz died Monday at Rochester, Minn.
The Rev. Henry Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in the nearby cemetery.
She was born Hulda Snitker, Jan. 30, 1896, on a farm in Winneshiek County, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William [Caroline 'Lena' Grotegut] Snitker. She was married to Elmer Osterholtz September 18, 1919.
Since his death a few years ago, she lived in Waukon.
She is survived by four sisters, Mrs. Anton [Ada] DeBuhr of Waukon; Mrs. John [Florence] Baumgartner and Mrs. Urban [Dorothy] Sanderman, both of near Decorah; and Mrs. Paul [Clara] Hesse, near Decorah; and two brothers, Alfred Snitker of Union Prairie Township and Clarence Snitker of near Postville, Ia.
