Kenneth W. Smith, 72, died Tuesday, April 11, 1995, in Veterans Memorial Hospital, Waukon, Iowa, after a sudden illness.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, St. John's Lutheran Church, Waukon, by the Rev. Lynn Groe. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Dorchester, Iowa. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Thursday at Martin Funeral Home.

Survivors include his wife, Lyla; six sons, Ronald of Waterloo; and Roderick, Dennis, Randy, Frederick and Gregory, all of Waukon; five daughters, Karen Donahue and Linda Sires, both of New Albin, Iowa; Susan Freese and Patricia Gilman, both of Waukon; and Peggy Wilson of Leesburg, Florida; and a sister, Velma Mack of New Albin.
