John Klegseth Passes
John Klegseth, who for many years operated a farm in Waterloo township, passed away. Thursday at the county home where he had been cared for during the past three months. Mr. Klegseth was born in Norway, on July 6, 1866 and came to America at an early age to settle in Allamakee county. Most of his life was spent in Waterloo township where he farmed until his health failed. Besides his widow, he is survived by an adopted son, Martin, who with his mother reside on the home farm; two daughters, Mrs. Gus Erickson of Caledonia, Minn.; and Mrs. Arthur Swanson of Cornell, Mich., and an adopted daughter, also at Cornell.

Funeral services were held Monday in the Waterloo Ridge Lutheran church with the Rev. Heltne officiating. Burial was in the cemetery nearby.
