Mrs. Louise Meyer, 83, of New Albin, died Tuesday, September 16, 1974, in a Waukon hospital.
She was born November 3, 1891, at Eitzen. Minnesota, to Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Spiegler. She married Albert Meyer on September 12, 1912, in Eitzen and they farmed in the area.
Survivors are a son, Kermit, of Lower Lake, California; two daughters, Mrs. Bernice Wild and Mrs. Edgar (Shirley) Wuennecke, both of New Albin; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandhildren; a brother, Frank of Waukon; and a sister, Mrs. Clarence Bulman of Waukon.
She was preceded in death by her husband, four brothers and three sisters.
Services were 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, in St. Peter's United Church of Christ, New Albin. Rev. Clyde Lee officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers were Curtis Wild, Wendell Wild, David Strong, Norman Dresselhaus and Alan Wuennecke.
