Mildred Hogan

Mildred L. Hogan, age 87, of Lansing died Friday, December 7, 2007 at Thornton Manor in Lansing. Funeral Services were held Tuesday, December 11 at the United Methodist Church in Lansing with Pastor Steve Hubbell officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lansing.

Mildred was born in Lansing Township of Allamakee County November 18, 1920 to Carl and Lydia (Reuchtemeier) Saewert. She married Teddy Hogan May 26, 1973 in Waukon and he preceded her in death February 28, 1989. Over the years she had worked at the Button Factory, babysat, and helped Teddy a lot with Commercial Fishing. She was known to be able to cook anything.

She is survived by two siblings, Milton 'Mike' Saewert of Lansing and Dorothy Dahl of Scandia, MI; and nieces and nephews.

Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy; and three brothers, Alfred, Leonard and Willis Saewert.

Casketbears were Ron Hogan, Fred Hogan, Jim Strub, Ron Fink, Willis Saewert, Jr. and Bob Teff.
